The history of BCM ENGINEERING has beginning around twenty years, in April 1984. Currently the society employ 18 people. The essential of the staff is composed of technicians from the research department and of professionals from generally mechanic. In 2009, the turnover global was from 2 014 690euros with a turnover at the export of about 56 %.

The BCM UNSCRAMBLER
The BCM Unscrambler is able to handle different sorts and sizes of products.
A twenty year old experience, build up with more and more customer's requirements, from different sectors where we have also our machines, permit us to be able to sort very delicate products without damage them. Exchange of change parts needs no tools and can be done in few minutes (pictures 1, 2, 3 in the photo gallery).
The products are extracted from the bulk to the vibrating table with a belt which is itself regulated by a level sensor.
This sensor allow only feeding of a minimum of products to the table, and avoid them to stay a long time on it and be damaged (pictures 4, 5, 6 in the photo gallery).
The hopper can be placed behind, on the right or on the left of the machine and it's mounted on wheels.
The products go on through the channels of vibrating table. Then they progress to the orienting unit (picture 7 in the photo gallery).
At the end of the vibrating table, with the help of some special guides, the products are falling top/bottom in the vertical channels.
The oriented products are accumulated in the vertical channels. At the bottom of each channel, a moving finger separates the products and let fall them one by one on delivery belt (pictures 8 and 9 in the photo gallery).
The change over becomes very easy and quick with adjustments by numeric counters (picture 10 in the photo gallery).
The BCM Unscrambler is also able to handle products with dissymmetrical forms, with label only on one side or with handle. A turning station can be integrated in vertical channels and orients the products before they leave the machine, or it can be totally independent (BCM ORIENTER).
Bottles or other products can be delivered on vacuum belt, turn table, pucks for unstable products or other sort of dispatching system.
BCM build those UNSCRAMBLERS according client's requirements and wishes (pictures 11, 12, 13 in the photo gallery).
The BCM ORIENTER
An orienting station placed on an outfeed conveyor is called BCM ORIENTER (pictures 15 and 16 in the photo gallery).
Functionning principle:
The bottles run, in a first time, through two lateral transferbands, which permit to separate and space them before the detection. After this, the bottles pass front of an optic fiber or a camera, which will detect a distinctive mark on bottle as for example a handle, an offsetted neck, a bar code or a label.
This optic fiber or camera gives than the order to a pneumatical cylinder to turn or not the bottle.
Two possibilities can appear:
The bottle arrives in the required position what means it hasn't to be turned. In this case it will go through the orienting guides without that anything happens.
- The bottle arrives in the wrong position, by the passage through the orienting guides, it will be turned about 180°.
Speed: Guaranteed until 135 UpM following application.
